RH-304 - Robert Haussmann

RH-304 Design: Robert Haussmann [ PDF Version ]

Its harmonious proportions and clean-cut lines make the RH-304 cantilever chair an icon of SWISS DESIGN. Robert Haussmann’s creation proved a resounding success when it premiered at the end of the Fifties, when it was used for the seating in a conference room at UNESCO headquarters in Paris. Avidly sought by collectors and connoisseurs, it is now available again along with the RH-305 as a re-edition from de Sede: virtually indistinguishable from their historic precursor, the silhouettes of both models – subtly enhanced by slimmer seat upholstery – shine in a new-found glory.

DS-Living

de Sede selects the hides it uses in accordance with the most rigorous quality standards. Only bulls and bullocks raised in the best breeding conditions are deemed good enough for this purpose. DS-Living is a lightly pigmented nappa leather with lightly embossed graining. Between 1.5 and 1.7 mm thick, the leather is extremely hard-wearing, has an easy-care finish and is elegant in appearance.
