The DS-30 contract collection is the fruit of the initial collaboration between de Sede and Matteo Thun. It is an individualised system that adapts itself to the properties of the space in question and to the diverse requirements placed upon it in terms of usage. An exciting new line - elegant but flexible, modern but at the same time classic. Pure and clean-cut in their design, the various items of furniture can be combined like modular elements to create ever-new shapes without appearing to be part of a system. Iconic but simple, the DS-30 affords a wealth of potential for personalised design solutions. Individually or in combination, the line ensures comfort without dominating. Its classically modern, restrained lines fit seamlessly into all manner of architectural concepts and styles. Different colours and qualities of leather extend the scope for customisation still further. The choice of available shades ranges from neutral to strikingly colourful hues, while the all-round raised seams create a further eye-catching detail, whether tone-in-tone or as a contrasting feature. DS-30 is limitlessly variable, can be used virtually everywhere and forms a contract collection whose design can unite all areas without repeating itself. For the lobby, two and three-seater benches, side tables and pouffes offer room to take a quiet break. For the lounge area, there are easy chairs (with or without armrests) for relaxing which can be expanded at will. Pouffes and side tables can be used here to form a unifying link. Two and three-seater sofas (with or without armrests) create an elegant modern room, with an armchair placed next to a pouffe forming a delicate chaise-longue. Here too, the line’s matching benches and side tables can be used to round off the overall look to perfection.
DS-Living
de Sede selects the hides it uses in accordance with the most rigorous quality standards. Only bulls and bullocks raised in the best breeding conditions are deemed good enough for this purpose. DS-Living is a lightly pigmented nappa leather with lightly embossed graining. Between 1.5 and 1.7 mm thick, the leather is extremely hard-wearing, has an easy-care finish and is elegant in appearance.
